First Ever Post for Paid Subscribers!
Dearest supporters,
I am truly grateful to you for actually paying to subscribe to my newsletter. I know you’ve got a lot of demands on your eyeballs and nervous systems every day, and so my intention is to make this occasional post something truly valuable.
Here, in my first official “subscribers only” newsletter, are the ingredients to the most popular dishes at my most recent retreat. At the end, I’ve listed what I judged to be “failures,” not necessarily because any retreatant complained, but because my family members said, “Not as good as usual, Mom.” Still, if you are curious, I put in the links to these recipes, along with my self-critique.
Since this is my first Subscribers Only post, I’d be curious to know what kind of content you would find most useful. I work hard on Symbols & Cymbals, and I really appreciate your acknowledgment of that work. I’d like to return the favor by offering you any piece of my interior library that might serve your desires. Such as rare and strange photos that might make you laugh. For instance, the one below, circa 1978, of me and my sister with our budgerigars. Mine’s name was Isis. Katryna’s was Little Lord Fauntleroy, or “Faunty” for short. They came to tragic ends. I will not tell you those.
Love,
Nerissa
